The Scan Lines Effect allows you to place so-called scan lines over an existing video in PIXERA, which run from bottom left to top right.
These scan lines make it easy to determine whether tearing (asynchrony) is occurring.
The Effect can be found in the Resources/Effects:

The advantage of this effect over On-Screen Statistics Scan Lines is that it can be applied to any content, and therefore can be scaled up across the Screens as required.
On-Screen Statistics, on the other hand, only display Scan Lines per Output. Only if the Outputs are combined via a Mosaic can their Scan Lines be seen across all Outputs.
Reference the On-Screen Statistics Article for more information on its usage.

IMPORTANT NOTE
The Scan Line effect can currently only be applied to clips and not to Color Resources.
If the effect gets applied to a Color Resource created within PIXERA, the Output and Preview will show a solid white.
Effect Parameter
The Effects Parameters allow changing of how the lines move and look.
| Mix [%] | This parameter changes the “transparency” of the shader - for full visibility it needs to be at 100. |
| Speed | Changes the speed of the lines - how fast they run between the corners. Default is 20. |
| Line Size | Allows to change the size/with/thickness of the lines. Default is 10. |
| Line Color | These parameters allow the color of the lines to change. Default is 1 on each. |
