You can now send an Artnet stream to a second local address to monitor it, e.g. in ArtNetDominator or sACN view.
This allows you to temporarily reroute the stream away from a node (such as an LED processor) where monitoring might be difficult to a system set up for Art-Net analysis.
The monitoring address can be defined in the PIXERA - Settings - General
In the Mapping Tab, you can then decide individually which output should be rerouted to this monitoring address
NOTE
Rerouting the output to a monitoring address stops the output streams. This means that it cannot be controlled and played out at the same time.
The ArtNetominator
The ArtNetominator is a diagnostic tool used to verify whether the Art-Net output stream is transmitting correctly. It visualizes the network data being sent and received over Art-Net. After selecting the appropriate port and network adapter, the tool displays all available Nets, Subnets, Universes, and Nodes in the left column.
When the Art-Net output stream is active, the DMX data will appear in real time on the right side of the interface, represented as green fields. Each field corresponds to a DMX channel, allowing a quick visual check that data is being transmitted and updated correctly.
The ArtNetominator can be downloaded here.
